We produce via all production Methods; injection molding, extrusion, vacuum forming, PUR casting or machining depending on the products design and series size. Production takes place at our factory outside Oslo. Choosing the right production process is important. This is costeffective for you!

Welding

Many types of plastic are suitable for welding. The welding surfaces are fused together under the influence of heat and pressure. Welding is a common method of producing plastic packaging. Plates, pipes and semi-finished products are welded to constructions within drainage and subsea installations. PP or PEHD is often used.

Injection molding

In an injection molding machine, the plastic is heated and processed in a cylinder by a screw piston. The screw presses a measured amount into a tempered mold. The process is particularly suitable for large volumes of small and medium sized thermoplastic articles with complicated geometry. The process has a relatively high cost due to molding tools.

PUR Casting

Polyurethane is a common term for a group of plastic materials characterized by containing urethane bonds. Polyurethane is a two-component material. PUR can easily be molded into products in suitable molds, and can be easily varied and adapted to the requirements of the product. The raw materials are mixed with mixing machines and filled directly into the mold cavety. It can be cast with varying thickness and products with good pore density, high stiffness and great chemical resistance are obtained.

Vacuum forming

In vacuum forming, plastic sheets or foil are tensioned in a frame which is heated to its forming temperature. The plastic is formed against a tool by the air being sucked out through the tool and the plastic is drawn in towards the tool. After cooling, the product is ready for finishing. The benefits of vacuum forming are the short time needed from idea to finished product and the affordable tools. Large products can be molded and plastic sheets with various decorated surfaces can be molded so that varnishing becomes unnecessary.

Extrusion

In an extruder, the thermoplastic is heated and processed in a cylinder which continuously pushes the plastic out through a nozzle/profile tool. This gives the product the desired profile. The plastic then passes through a cooling bath and is then cut to desired lengths. It can also be rolled up.

Machining

Machining of plastic products is accomplished by milling plates or bolts to the desired product. The process allows production without molds or tools.

3D Print

For smaller series, our 3D printers is a good production alternative.

FDM provides solid and affordable parts with a few tenths of a mm tolerance.

If there are strict requirements for tolerances and mechanical properties, we use SLA which provides parts with excellent mechanical properties and tolerances down to a few hundredths of a mm.
